The Extracted Text and the Summary Are Different Things

The extracted text is exactly what was written in the image, returned as real words you can select, copy, and search. The summary is a reading of it: what the chart is showing, what the notes are about, what conclusion the infographic is arguing for. These serve different needs. What Kind of Image Works Well

The reader handles screenshots, slides, photographed documents, whiteboards, charts, and infographics, and it copes with long screenshots where the content runs far beyond a single screen. Text printed or typed comes through best. Handwriting is read when it is reasonably clear and gets unreliable when it is rushed, which is worth knowing before relying on a photographed page of notes.
